I recently had an opportunity to attend an event at the ICA and was again impressed by the quality of the work your company performed on this project and wanted to share this with you guys.
The implementation of the design for the south facade, the primary architectural feature of the project, required a high level of technical expertise and craftsmanship to achieve the desired results. The attachment of the large trapezoidal aluminum panels without visible exposed fasteners was an incredible feat requiring close coordination with all parties involved: your Poma team, the delegated specialty engineer, the Spanish fabricator of the aluminum panels, the adhesive manufacturer and our designers.
The irregular geometry of the panels, requiring them to be pre-cut in Spain, further complicated the installation project. Your field Project Manager, Jack Scanlon, deserves special recognition as he worked tirelessly to address the myriad details associated with providing an aluminum skin, with different profiles and geometries, on a complete building facade.
While we have had the opportunity to work together in the past on several other projects and have known of the quality and professionalism your staff typically exhibits, the challenges, and final results of the ICA are quite frankly exemplary.
