Letter · May 17, 2018
This letter is issued to attest to Poma Architectural Metals’ performance for Balfour Beatty on the Solitair Brickell Apartments project built in Miami, Florida for ZOM Living. The project consisted of a 50-story residential apartment tower located in the densely populated neighborhood of Brickell. The project’s site logistics and schedule were extremely demanding and as such it was critical to have key subcontractor partners who were diligent and performed per the contract requirements. Procurement of materials along with material deliveries needed to be precisely coordinated due to limited laydown space. Poma Construction was responsible for all of the aluminum balcony railings on the project as well as architectural aluminum panels on the garage facade as well as on the rooftop. Poma completed their engineering in a timely manner, which led to on-time procurement and installation. Poma also proved to be nimble throughout the project, properly reacting to and executing last minute owner changes. Poma proved to be a purposeful partner to Balfour Beatty and an ally in the successful execution of the project.
