2800 Williams Island is a residential development in Aventura, Florida that underwent a modernization completed in 2020. Poma was responsible for the modernization of the building's railing systems. Poma designed, engineered, and installed over 12,000 linear feet of glass railing for the building.
Scope included demolition of existing railing, engineering analysis, new glass railing using Poma Infinity Glass Railing® system. With this proprietary and revolutionary system, the project was able to overcome many issues related to balcony deviations that would have caused significant delays and added expenses for any other ordinary railing system.
Pictured above, before and after modernization of the building’s railing system on the exterior balcony. Modernizing the building’s railing increased the building’s value tremendously, and utilizing the patented Poma Pin system will protect the building’s structure.
