Giralda Place in Coral Gables, Florida is a high-end development featuring Poma metalwork. Scope included metal and glass balcony railings, and metal grates for the parking structure ventilation. The project, also known as the Giralda Complex was designed by Fullerton Group. The diamond lattice style grating on the building evokes a old spanish aesthetic. The geometric pattern of intersecting lines forms diamond shapes. Architecturally, this type of design is reminiscent of traditional latticework but with a modern twist. The grid-like arrangement of the grating offers both aesthetic appeal and functional benefits, such as providing ventilation or shading while maintaining a sense of openness.
